TNT continues to see good results for NBA Playoff coverage.
Tuesday night’s Pistons/Cavaliers and Jazz/Lakers doubleheader averaged a 2.4 U.S. rating on TNT, up 4% from a 2.3 last year. In particular, Pistons/Cavaliers Game 2 drew a 2.4 U.S. rating, up 42% from a 1.7 for Mavericks/Hornets Game 2 last year. Meanwhile, Jazz/Lakers drew a 2.3, off 23% from a 3.0 for Suns/Spurs Game 2 last year.
Through Tuesday, TNT is averaging a 2.2 U.S. rating for coverage of the 2009 NBA Playoffs, up 10% from a 2.0 through the same point last year.
