Ratings for the NBA Playoffs have held steady on ABC, ESPN and TNT.
Through 16 telecasts, the 2009 NBA Playoffs have averaged a 2.2 U.S. rating on ABC, ESPN and TNT, even with last year, and up from ’07. ABC averaged a 2.7 for its first two games, down 21% from last year, and ESPN averaged a 1.9 for three games, down 5%. TNT averaged a 2.1 for its 9 telecasts, up 5%.
Interestingly, all but one Western Conference playoff game has seen declining ratings, while all but one Eastern Conference game has seen increased ratings.
