- NBC’s last regular season NHL telecast of the season drew the lowest overnight of the season. Red Wings/Blackhawks drew a mere 0.6 overnight Sunday afternoon, down 25% from NBC’s final NHL telecast of last season, which paired the same two teams.
- College hockey saw a big increase in ratings on ESPN. The Men’s Ice Hockey National Championship game between Miami (Ohio) and Boston University drew a 0.7 overnight cable rating on ESPN Saturday night, up 75% from last year.
