- Jeanne Zelasko: The former MLB on FOX studio host will get to do play-by-play for the Dodgers after all. Zelasko has been named the play-by-play voice of the new DodgersWIN (Women’s Initiatives Network) broadcast, set to debut on May 20. The DodgersWIN broadcasts will take place during every Wednesday home game for the rest of the season, and will be available on dodgers.com/win. Last year, Zelasko expressed interest in replacing Charley Steiner on Dodgers telecasts.
- Roger Clemens: The former MLB pitcher, named in the Mitchell Report in 2007, will be a guest on Mike and Mike in the Morning on Tuesday. The interview will be Clemens’ first he sat down with Mike Wallace on 60 Minutes in early 2008.
- Zack Selwyn: The runner up on ESPN’s reality show Dream Job has a new gig on Versus. Selwyn will host a bizarre-sounding show called Fanarchy, in which “seven fans [will discuss] various sports issues of the day from their homes, interacting via Web cams.” Selwyn, hosting the show from a Los Angeles studio, will “kick two fans off the show” in each episode.
Netflix officially announces expanded NFL deal
The NFL has officially reached a new deal with Netflix that will see the streamer bookend the season.
