- For the fourth straight week, final round coverage of a PGA Tour event saw a triple-digit increase in ratings. The final round of the Wyndham Championship drew a 1.8/4 overnight rating on CBS Sunday, up 100% from a 0.9/2 last year, and up 38% from a 1.3/3 in ’07. The 1.8 overnight is the highest for final round coverage of the event since it moved to its current date in ’07.
- FOX drew a 4.3/8 final rating and 6.7 million viewers for last Friday’s Titans/Cowboys NFL preseason game, up 34% in ratings and 40% in viewers from a 3.2/6 and 4.8 million for Texans/Cowboys on CBS on the comparable date last year.
- The August 17 episode of The T.O. Show drew 1.6 million viewers on VH1, up 14% from 1.4 million viewers the previous week, but off 11% from the series-high 1.8 million viewers the show drew on August 3.
