FOX trounced its NFL studio rivals in separate head-to-head matchups on Sunday.
The season premiere of FOX NFL Sunday drew a 3.6/9 overnight rating on FOX Sunday afternoon, up 20% from 3.0/8 for last year’s opener. FOX NFL Sunday topped The NFL Today on CBS (2.5/6) by 44%.
Later in the day, The OT postgame show drew a 7.5/13 overnight on FOX, even with last year, and 44% higher than the 5.2/9 overnight Football Night in America drew on NBC.
