The final game of the 2009 MLB Division Series saw a solid boost in the overnights on TBS.
The Phillies’ series-clinching win over the Rockies drew a 4.0 overnight rating on TBS Monday, up 43% from a 2.8 for Rays/White Sox Game 4 in a similiar timeslot last year.
Game 4 drew a massive 26.0 in Philadelphia, the highest rating of the series. In Denver, the game drew an 18.3.
More MLB ratings: Twins/Yankees Game 2 drew a 4.1/8 U.S. rating and 6.5 million viewers on TBS Friday, up 58% and 67%, respectively, from a 2.6/5 and 4 million for White Sox/Rays Game 2 in the same timeslot last year.
Meanwhile, Red Sox/Angels Game 2 — the first hour of which aired on TNT because Twins/Yankees went extra innings — drew a 3.3/7 and 5.1 million viewers, flat in ratings but down 4% in viewers from a 3.3/7 and 5.3 million for the same matchup last year.
