CBS drew mixed numbers for its Week 5 NFL doubleheader.
Sunday’s late national NFL telecast, primarily Patriots/Broncos, drew a 14.3 overnight rating on CBS, up 2% from a 14.0 for Bengals/Cowboys last year, but off 5% from a 15.1 for last week’s late national telecast featuring Cowboys/Broncos.
The 14.3 overnight ranks as fifth-highest of the season for an NFL telecast, behind the aforementioned Cowboys/Broncos game in Week 4 (15.1), Steelers/Bears (15.4) and Giants/Cowboys (16.5) in Week 2, and Washington/Giants in Week 1 (15.0).
Earlier in the day, regional coverage featuring Raiders/Giants drew an 8.6 overnight, off 3% from an 8.9 for comparable coverage last year.
