For the third time in four weeks, FOX drew a massive audience for NFL coverage.
Sunday’s NFL national game, featuring Cowboys/Packers, drew a 15.9/29 final rating and 26.7 million viewers on FOX — up 17% in ratings and 19% in viewership from Colts/Steelers on CBS last year (13.6/26, 22.4 mil), and up 35% and 38%, respectively, from Chargers/Giants on CBS last week (11.8/22, 19.3 mil).
Cowboys/Packers was the top NFL telecast of Week 10, finishing above Patriots/Colts on NBC.
Additionally, the game ranks as the third-highest rated, third-most viewed NFL telecast of the season, behind only Falcons/Cowboys in Week 7 (16.8, 28.4 mil) and Vikings/Packers in Week 8 (17.4, 29.8 mil).
This marks the third time this season that an NFL telecast has drawn at least 26 million viewers. To put that in perspective, not a single regular season telecast last year managed to draw that many viewers.
