- Last Saturday’s college football clash between Indiana and Iowa drew a 2.8 U.S. rating and 4 million viewers on ESPN, up 56% and 66%, respectively, from a 1.8 and 2.4 million for Texas Tech/Kansas in the comparable timeslot last year. Among African-Americans, Game 6 of the Angels/Yankees ALCS drew an 8.3 rating (1.5 million viewers), well below a 12.2 (2.5 million) for Cardinals/Giants on NBC airing at the same time.
