- FOX: Sunday’s Vikings/Packers game drew an 18.3 overnight rating on FOX, up 17% from last year’s comparable Giants/Steelers tilt, and the highest overnight for a regular season NFL telecast since 2007. Meanwhile, early game coverage featuring Giants/Eagles drew an 11.7 overnight, down slightly from an 11.9 for comparable coverage last year.
- CBS: Singleheader NFL coverage featuring Dolphins/Jets drew a 10.0 overnight on CBS Sunday, up 15% from last year’s Week 8 singleheader on FOX.
- Saturday’s Georgia/Florida game drew a 4.8 overnight on CBS, up 9% from last year’s matchup between the teams, and tied as the second-highest overnight of the season for a college football game on CBS.
- ABC: Regional action featuring either USC/Oregon or Texas/Oklahoma State drew a 4.6 overnight rating on ABC Saturday night, down 36% from a 7.2 for last year’s comparable Ohio State/Penn State game, but the second-highest overnight of the season for Saturday Night Football. Earlier in the day, regional action featuring Miami/Wake Forest drew a 3.5, off 33% from last year.
- NBC: Sunday Night Football had the week off, but NBC still had primetime football over the weekend. Saturday night’s Washington State/Notre Dame game drew a staggeringly low 1.5 overnight, the second-lowest of the season for a Notre Dame game on NBC. To put that in perspective, Game 3 of the ’07 Stanley Cup Finals — which finished as the lowest rated primetime program in the history of NBC — also drew a 1.5 overnight.
