The end of the 40th season of Monday Night Football did well in the overnights for ESPN.
The Bears’ overtime win over the Vikings drew a 10.9 overnight on ESPN Monday night, the highest for a Monday Night Football telecast since Patriots/Saints drew a 14.4 in Week 12.
The 10.9 marks a 21% increase over a 9.0 overnight for Packers/Bears in Week 16 last year.
Monday’s game drew a 43.6 rating in Minneapolis (14.8 on ESPN, 28.8 on local affiliate) and a 31.1 in Chicago (10.5 on ESPN, 20.6 on local affiliate).
