- Ad rates for the Super Bowl have declined for only the second time in the history of the event. According to TNS Media Intelligence, CBS is charging $2.5 to $2.8 million for a 30-second ad during the February 7 game, down from $3 million for last year’s game on NBC. (Sports Business Daily)
