Overnight ratings increased by double-digits for Sunday’s AFC Wild Card matchup on CBS.
The Ravens’ blowout of the Patriots drew a 19.4/38 overnight rating on CBS Sunday, up 14% from Ravens/Dolphins on CBS last year (17.0/35), up 14% from Giants/Buccaneers on FOX in ’08 (17.1/36), and up 12% from Jets/Patriots in CBS in ’07 (17.3/35).
Ratings peaked at a 22.6/42 from 3:30-4 PM.
The 19.4 overnight is the highest for the early Sunday Wild Card game since Seahawks/Packers in ’03 (20.1/39).
Additionally, this marks the highest overnight for a Wild Card game on CBS since Steelers/Bengals in ’06 (19.9/34).
