The start of the NFL’s Divisional Round drew strong numbers on FOX Saturday.
The Saints’ blowout win over the Cardinals drew a 17.9/34 overnight rating on FOX Saturday afternoon, up 5% from Ravens/Titans on CBS last year (17.0/32), but down 3% from Seahawks/Packers on FOX in ’08 (18.5/36).
The 17.9 overnight ranks 7th out of the 12 early Saturday Divisional Round games since ’99.
Saturday’s game drew a 57.2/79 rating in New Orleans, the highest local rating ever for a Divisional Round telecast on FOX. In Phoenix, the game drew a 32.1/59.
