The numbers continue to rise for the 2010 Vancouver Olympics.
Primetime coverage of the Winter Games drew a 16.5 overnight rating on NBC Sunday night, up 9% from a 15.1 for the comparable night of the ’06 Turin Games.
NBC again dominated in primetime (7-11 PM), averaging 26.3 million viewers according to Nielsen fast affiliate data. The network outdrew second-place CBS by 155% in viewership.
Among adults 18-49, NBC averaged a 7.0/19 — dominating the night in primetime, and topping second-place FOX by 112%.
