The Winter Games boosted NBC to a primetime victory on Sunday night.
NBC’s coverage of the 2010 Vancouver Olympics drew 22.4 million viewers in primetime (7-11 PM) Sunday night, according to Nielsen fast-affiliate data.
For the 9th time in 10 nights, NBC easily won the night in primetime — topping its nearest competitor (CBS) by 110% in viewers. Keep in mind that every show on CBS, ABC and FOX was brand new, with the sole exception of Family Guy.
NBC also drew a 5.7/14 among adults 18-49, topping second-place CBS (2.9/7) by 97%.
Despite the strong performance, Sunday was NBC’s least-viewed night in primetime since the Olympics began on February 12.
