With the Blackhawks setting ratings records on five separate occasions this season, it was only about time the Bulls got in on the act as well.
The Bulls’ Friday night overtime win against the Hornets drew a 4.72 rating (165,000 HHs) on Comcast SportsNet Chicago, the highest rating ever for a Bulls telecast on the network.
The 4.72 tops the previous record of 4.37 for Heat/Bulls in December ’06.
Ratings peaked at a 6.71 (235,000 HHs) from 9:30-9:45 PM.
So far this season, Bulls games are averaging a 2.5 rating on CSN Chicago, up 25% from last year.
