Despite the suspensions of Gilbert Arenas and Javaris Crittendon, ratings for Washington Wizards telecasts on CSN Mid-Atlantic are still up double-digits from last year.
Through 46 games, Wizards telecasts are averaging a 1.4 rating on Comcast SportsNet Mid-Atlantic, up 25% from last year. Prior to Arenas’ suspension, Wizards telecasts were averaging a 1.5 rating.
Back in November, the Wizards were averaging a 1.9 rating, up 97%.
The Wizards’ most recent game drew a 2.1 rating on CSN Mid-Atlantic, tied as the 7th-highest rating of the season.
So far this season, the Wizards and Capitals are averaging the same rating — a departure from earlier in the year, when the Wizards outdrew their NHL competitors by 73%.
