ESPN and The Golf Channel will air separate interviews with Tiger Woods on Sunday night.
Woods was interviewed by The Golf Channel’s Kelly Tilghman and ESPN’s Tom Rinaldi at Florida’s Isleworth Golf Club on Sunday. This is the first time Woods has taken questions from reporters since news of his marital infidelity broke late last year.
ESPN and The Golf Channel will air their interviews with Woods at 7:30 PM ET. According to The Golf Channel, Woods requested that the interview not air until 7:30 to avoid conflicting with the end of the Transitions Championship.
The interviews were limited to just five minutes. However, there were no restrictions on the questions asked.
Both networks began promoting their respective interviews at 6:30 PM Sunday.
