For the final time, the 2010 Winter Olympics boosted NBC to a primetime victory.
Coverage of the Closing Ceremony of the 2010 Vancouver Olympics drew 19.8 million viewers on NBC in primetime Sunday night (7-11 PM), according to Nielsen fast-affiliate data. NBC won the night in primetime, topping second-place CBS (11.5 mil) by 73%.
NBC won the night in primetime on 14 of the 17 nights of the Winter Olympics. FOX, boosted by American Idol, won the other three nights.
NBC drew a 5.3/14 among adults 18-49, topping second-place CBS (3.1/8) by 71%.
