- ESPN and Microsoft have partnered to make ESPN3.com available on the XBOX gaming console. XBOX Live Gold members will be able to access ESPN3.com via the XBOX starting this November, provided that they “receive their Internet connection from an affiliated service provider.” (ESPN)
- During Thursday’s Celtics/Lakers Game 7, approximately 3,100 comments per second were posted on Twitter, a record for the site. Typically, the website only generates 750 comments per second. Twitter has seen simliar results for World Cup matches, with Japan/Cameroon on June 14 producing approximately 2,900 comments per second. (Mashable)
- SportsCenter is set to debut a three-part series on LeBron James‘ upcoming free agency. The first part, which will air Sunday, will focus on how various cities have “made their case” as the best destination for James. The next two parts will air on Monday and Tuesday. (ESPN)
