The inaugural Greenbrier Classic was far from a hit in the overnight ratings.
Sunday’s final round coverage of The Greenbrier Classic drew a 1.2 overnight rating on CBS Sunday, down a whopping 70% from final round coverage of the Buick Open on the comparable date last year (4.0).
Keep in mind Tiger Woods won last year’s Buick Open. Final round coverage of the 2008 Buick Open, which did not feature Woods, drew a 1.5 overnight.
Third round action on Saturday drew a 1.0 overnight, down 58% from last year’s Buick Open coverage.
