In its first year as the new home of the Bowl Championship Series, ESPN will give primetime treatment to the release of the weekly BCS rankings.
As previously reported, ESPN will air a Sunday night studio show devoted to the release of the BCS rankings beginning October 10. The show, named BCS Countdown, will air on ESPN from 8:15-9 PM ET and ESPNU from 9-9:30 PM.
BCS Countdown will also air on ESPNU Monday nights at 6 PM ET. The Monday night editions will debut on Labor Day.
