FOX had a double-digit rise in overnight ratings for Sunday’s Week 5 NFL singleheader.
NFL action featuring Packers/Washington drew a 12.7 overnight rating on FOX Sunday afternoon, up 19% from last year (DAL/KC*: 10.6) and up 28% from Week 5 in 2008 (WSH/PHI*: 9.9).
The 12.7 overnight is the second-highest of the season for the NFL singleheader window, behind only Week 3 (DAL/HOU*: 14.0).
Sunday’s telecast drew the second-highest overnight of the day — topping Sunday Night Football on NBC (PHI/SF: 11.7), and trailing only the national window on CBS (TEN/DAL*: 14.6).
This is the second time this season that the singleheader window has topped Sunday Night Football. The other such occurrence took place in Week 3, also on FOX.
