Overnight ratings increased slightly for Sunday’s NFL national window, the first of the season to feature the Cowboys.
CBS drew a 14.6 overnight rating for the Week 5 national window, which featured Titans/Cowboys, up 2% from Week 5 last year (NE/DEN*: 14.3) and up 4% from Week 5 in 2008 (CIN/DAL*: 14.0).
The 14.6 is the second-lowest of the season for the NFL national window (five telecasts), ahead of only the Week 4 window (IND/DEN*: 14.2).
Once again, the national window topped NBC Sunday Night Football (PHI/SF: 11.7). The national window has drawn a higher overnight than SNF every week this season.
Earlier Sunday, CBS drew an 8.3 overnight for coverage featuring Chiefs/Colts, down 4% from last year (OAK/NYG*: 8.6) and down 8% from 2008 (IND/HOU*: 8.9).
