The numbers were not as big as in recent weeks, but the Week 7 NFL singleheader had a big increase in overnight ratings on FOX.
FOX earned a 10.7 overnight rating for NFL action featuring Washington/Bears on Sunday afternoon, up 43% from Week 7 last year (NE/TB*: 7.5, CBS), but down 4% from Week 7 in 2008 (SF/NYG*: 11.1, FOX).
Despite the increase, the 10.7 overnight is the second-lowest of the season for the NFL singleheader window, ahead of only coverage in Week 1 (CIN/NE*: 10.6, CBS).
Sunday’s telecast drew the lowest NFL overnight of the day, trailing both games of CBS’ doubleheader and Sunday Night Football on NBC.
