The Week 10 NFL singleheader drew a 9.6 final rating on CBS last Sunday afternoon, down 2% from Week 10 last year (CIN/PIT*: 9.8, CBS), but up 10% from Week 10 in 2008 (GB/MIN*: 8.7, FOX).

Through Week 10, CBS is averaging an 11.1 rating and 18.382 million viewers for NFL action, up 13% and 15%, respectively, from last year (9.8, 15.949 mil).
This marks the highest average rating for the NFL’s AFC broadcast package since 1994, and the highest average viewership since at least 1987 (as far back as CBS’ records go).
CBS has aired the AFC package since 1998; previously, NBC held the rights.
