For the second time this season, a game between the Heat and Jazz drew record numbers for Sun Sports.
Wednesday’s Heat/Jazz game drew a 7.5 rating on Sun Sports in the Miami-Ft. Lauderdale market, the highest rating ever for a regular season Heat game on the network.
The previous regular season high was a 7.2 for Jazz/Heat in November.
Miami’s win also ranks as the highest rated Heat game overall (regular season or playoffs) since the 1997 NBA Playoffs.
This is the third time this season that the Heat have set a ratings record on Sun Sports. Heat/Hornets on November 5 was the first (6.5), followed by the aforementioned Jazz/Heat game on November 9 (7.2).
