Opposite Giants/Vikings in part of the country, Monday’s Ravens/Texans game on ESPN had a small decline in overnight ratings.
The Ravens’ overtime win over the Texans earned an 8.7 overnight rating on ESPN Monday night, down 4% from Week 14 last year (AZ/SF: 9.1), and up 7% from Week 14 in 2008 (TB/CAR: 8.1).
The 8.7 overnight is the fifth-lowest of the season for Monday Night Football (15 telecasts).
In several markets, including #1 market New York, Monday’s game aired opposite Giants/Vikings on FOX.
The ESPN telecast drew a 14.4 rating in Houston and a 12.7 in Baltimore. As usual, the game was simulcast on local broadcast affiliates in the home markets, earning an 8.3 on Houston CW affiliate KIAH and a 30.4 on Baltimore CBS affiliate WJZ.
