Week 12 was a clean sweep for FOX, as all three of the network’s NFL games had increases in ratings and viewership.
The first game of Sunday’s Week 12 doubleheader on FOX, featuring Packers/Falcons in 72% of TV markets, earned a 9.9 final rating and 16.681 million viewers — up 30% in ratings and 36% in viewership from last year (WSH/PHI: 7.6, 12.304 mil), and up 30% and 39%, respectively, from 2008 (SF/DAL: 7.6, 11.983 mil).
The telecast ranks as the highest rated, most-viewed early doubleheader game of the season.
As reported previously, FOX drew a 15.3 final rating and 26.610 million viewers for the Week 12 NFL national window.
Meanwhile, Saints/Cowboys on Thanksgiving Day drew a 13.9 and 31.874 million viewers, the largest audience for a Thanksgiving Day game since 1998.
All three telecasts were up from the corresponding windows last season.
