The first indoor NHL telecast of the season on NBC attracted 1% of metered market households Sunday afternoon.
NBC earned a 1.0 overnight rating for Sunday’s Flyers/Blackhawks NHL telecast, up 20% from the network’s first indoor telecast last year (CHI/DET: 0.8).
Last year’s first indoor telecast took place one week earlier in the season. Versus the game on the comparable date last year, Flyers/Blackhawks was down 23% (PIT/PHI: 1.3).
Chicago was the #1 market for Sunday’s game, according to Puck the Media, with a 4.9 rating.
