Over the past two decades, the NHL All-Star Game has attracted at least 3% of U.S. television households on only two occasions. The 1990 game, the first NHL game on broadcast television in a decade, earned a 3.6 rating for NBC. Meanwhile, the 1996 edition, which aired in primetime on FOX, drew a 4.1.
Since moving to Versus, the All-Star Game has failed to draw at least a 1.0 rating each year. The most recent All Star Game drew a 0.6 rating, the best ever on Versus.
