For the third straight game, the Blackhawks set an all-time ratings record on Comcast SportsNet Chicago.
The Blackhawks’ Game 7 loss to the Canucks earned a 13.33 rating on CSN Chicago Tuesday night, the highest rating ever for a Blackhawks game on the network.
The previous record was set just two nights earlier by Game 6 of the series (12.45), which in turn had broken the record set by Game 5 (10.58).
The three games rank among the five highest rated telecasts ever on CSN Chicago. Between the Blackhawks and Bulls, the five highest rated games on CSN Chicago took place during the span of a week.
Overall, ratings for the Canucks/Blackhawks series were up 47% from last year’s comparable first round matchup against the Predators.
