Like big market competitors the Bruins and Blackhawks, the Flyers set a ratings record for their first round Game 7 this week.
The Flyers’ Game 7 win over the Sabres drew a 12.6 rating on Comcast SportsNet Philadelphia Tuesday night, the highest rating ever for a Flyers telecast on the network.
The previous record was set by last year’s Flyers/Bruins Game 7 last year (11.6).
The Flyers join the Bruins and Blackhawks in setting local ratings records in the past week.
CSN Philadelphia averaged a 7.8 rating for six Flyers/Sabres telecasts, up 47% from the network’s first round coverage last year (PHI/NJ: 5.3).
