NHL analyst Pierre McGuire will no longer split his time between TSN in Canada and NBC/Versus in the United States.
McGuire will leave TSN to join NBC/Versus full time, he told the Montreal Gazette.
Under his new deal, McGuire will work two games a week for NBC or Versus. In addition, he will serve as a studio analyst for Versus one night a week.
McGuire has been with NBC since the network resumed airing NHL games in 2006. He had been with TSN since 1999.
In the report, McGuire says the deal will allow him to work three Summer Olympics and two Winter Olympics for NBC, an indication that he will be with the network through at least 2020.
