Both sports-related series to launch on Comedy Central this year have been canceled.
Comedy Central has canceled Onion SportsDome and Sports Show with Norm Macdonald, according to multiple reports. Both shows debuted this year, and each lasted for just one season.
SportsDome debuted in January. By the time the show’s final episode aired in March, it had been moved from a cushy 10:30 PM timeslot (behind the highly rated Tosh.0) to 8:00 PM.
Macdonald’s Sports Show, meanwhile, debuted in April and had its series finale earlier this month.
