Overnight ratings for the MLB Home Run Derby were even with last year, when the event ended up with its lowest final rating in nearly a decade.
Coverage of the 2011 Major League Baseball Home Run Derby earned a 4.8 overnight rating on ESPN Monday, even with last year (4.8), but down 14% from 2009 (5.6).
Of note, last year’s Home Run Derby finished with a 4.0 final U.S. rating, the lowest since 2003.
