Fox Sports and the Ultimate Fighting Championship officially announced a multi-year rights agreement on Thursday.
Under the agreement, the FOX broadcast network will air four live UFC events each year, either in primetime or late night. The first such event will air on Saturday, November 12 at 9 PM ET.
In addition to FOX, the FX cable network will televise up to six live UFC events annually. In addition, FX will carry the reality series The Ultimate Fighter starting next spring.
The Ultimate Fighter currently airs on Spike TV, with a final season on that network set to begin in September.
