Sunday’s Packers/Falcons game performed well for NBC. Final ratings and viewership for the game are already available, but first here are the overnights.
The Week 5 edition of Sunday Night Football, pitting the Packers against the Falcons, earned a 14.0 overnight rating on NBC Sunday night — up 20% from last year (PHI/SF: 11.7), and up 30% from 2009 (IND/TEN: 10.8).
This marks the first time this season that overnight ratings for SNF have increased from the previous week.
As is typical, Sunday’s game was outdrawn by the NFL national window (NJ/NE*: 15.6, CBS).
Locally, the game drew a 51.2 rating in Milwaukee and a 28.0 in Atlanta. New Orleans (19.4) was the top neutral market, followed by Las Vegas (19.3) and Minneapolis (18.5).
