The resurgent Detroit Lions will make their first ever appearance on NBC’s Sunday Night Football.
The Week 13 edition of Sunday Night Football will feature the Lions against the Saints, the NFL announced Monday. The game will be the Lions’ first appearance on Sunday Night Football since NBC acquired the rights in 2005.
Originally, the Week 13 SNF game was to pit the winless Colts against the Patriots.
The Lions and Saints are both 7-3.
