- Bruins, Red Wings, Are the 1%: Friday’s Bruins/Red Wings NHL regular season game earned a 1.0 overnight rating on NBC. The game was the first of the annual ‘Black Friday’ NHL telecasts on NBC mandated in the league’s new ten-year television deal with the network. (Houston Chronicle)
- Crosby’s Return Scores Big Number Locally: The November 21 Islanders/Penguins game, the first to involve Penguins star Sidney Crosby in nearly a year, earned a 15.4 rating on Root Sports Pittsburgh — the second-highest local rating ever for a Penguins game on the network.
