Overnight ratings were mixed for the two college football games on CBS over the holiday weekend.
Friday’s #3 Arkansas/#1 LSU college football game earned a 6.1 overnight rating on CBS, down 19% from last year (AUB/ALA: 7.5), but up 27% from 2009 (ALA/AUB: 4.8).
LSU’s blowout win earned the highest non-NFL overnight of the weekend.
On Saturday, #2 Alabama/#24 Auburn earned a 4.3 overnight, up a tick from last year (LSU/ARK: 4.2), but down 16% from 2009 (FSU/UF: 5.1).
