The latest edition of Sunday Night Football was basically on par with last year.
The Week 10 Patriots/Jets Sunday Night Football game earned a 12.9 final rating and 20.918 million viewers on NBC, up 1% in ratings but down 1% in viewership compared to Week 10 last year (NE/PIT: 12.8, 21.182M), and down 6% and 7%, respectively, from Week 10 in 2009 (NE/IND: 13.7, 22.392M).
The Patriots’ win ranked as the top primetime program of the week on broadcast in ratings, viewership and the adults 18-49 demographic (8.1).
Of the eleven NFL telecasts on NBC this season, seven have had increases in ratings compared to last year, and six have had increases in viewership.
NBC averaged a 12.9 rating and 21.3 million viewers through Week 10, up a tick in ratings and flat in viewership compared to last year, and up 8% in both measures compared to 2009 (12.0, 19.8M).
