CBS drew a 9.8 final rating and 16.160 million viewers for the Week 9 NFL singleheader window last Sunday, flat in ratings and down 1% in viewership from Week 9 last year (NYG/SEA*: 9.8, 16.279M, FOX), and up 1% and 2%, respectively, from Week 9 in 2009 (ARI/CHI*: 9.7, 15.866M, FOX).
The telecast ranks as the second-highest rated and second-most viewed NFL singleheader on CBS this season (five telecasts).
It has been a soft first half of the season for CBS, as eight of the network’s first thirteen telecasts have had declines in ratings and nine have had declines in viewership.
