The defending Stanley Cup champion Boston Bruins have continued to rack up impressive numbers locally, with Saturday’s rematch against the Canucks setting a new record.
Saturday’s Canucks/Bruins NHL regular season game earned an 8.9 rating on NESN in the Boston market, the highest rating ever for a Bruins telecast on the network.
The previous record was set by the November 23 Bruins/Sabres game (8.4).
So far this season, Bruins games have averaged a 5.2 rating on NESN, up 86% from last year.
