- Michigan/Notre Dame Will Air in Primetime on NBC: The September 22 Michigan/Notre Dame college football game will air on NBC at 7:30 PM ET, marking just the second time since 1990 that Notre Dame has played a home football game in primetime. Michigan/Notre Dame will be the first of two primetime Notre Dame games on NBC next season, with the October 6 Miami/Notre Dame game slated for a 7:30 PM ET start from Chicago’s Soldier Field. - NBC to Air Stanley Cup Playoff Doubleheader: As first reported by Puck the Media this week, NBC is scheduled to televise a Stanley Cup playoff doubleheader on Sunday, April 15, the network’s third NHL doubleheader since acquiring rights to the league. The first game would air at 12 PM ET, with the second game scheduled for 3 PM. NBC’s playoff coverage is set to begin with a single 3 PM ET game on Saturday, April 14.
