CBS will kick off its college football coverage a few weeks earlier this season, with an early morning matchup between Notre Dame and Navy.
The September 1 Notre Dame/Navy college football game from Dublin, Ireland, will air on CBS at 9 AM ET, CBS Sports announced Monday.
The primary ‘SEC on CBS’ broadcast team of Verne Lundquist, Gary Danielson, and Tracy Wolfson will call the game.
Typically, CBS does not begin college football coverage until around the third week of the season, after the network’s U.S. Open commitments have been completed.
