The moribund Charlotte Bobcats are apparently going to finish their season in front of a national audience.
According to a Turner Sports spokesperson, TNT plans to televise Knicks/Bobcats on April 26, the final night of the lockout-shortened 2011-12 NBA regular season. Marv Albert and Mike Fratello would call the game with Marty Snider on the sidelines.
Knicks/Bobcats has been on the schedule since it was released in December, but with the Bobcats having a poor season, it would seem to make sense that the game would be replaced with another matchup.
The Knicks/Bobcats game would air directly opposite first round coverage of the NFL Draft on ESPN.
