Last week’s series finale between the Kings and Blues earned one of the lowest ratings ever for the Stanley Cup Playoffs on NBC.
Game 4 of the Blues/Kings second round Stanley Cup playoff series earned a mere 0.8 final rating on NBC last Sunday. There was no game on the comparable weekend last year.
The 0.8 rating is the lowest for a Stanley Cup playoff game on NBC since Rangers/Capitals Game 6 in 2009 (0.7).
The game was just the tenth Stanley Cup playoff game on NBC (62 telecasts dating back to 2006) to draw a 0.8 rating or lower.
The previous day, Game 4 between the Rangers and Capitals drew a 1.2 final rating.
